Lorraine Silver

Lorraine recorded a demo in the DIY recording booth in Woolworths Oxford Street in 1965, at the age of 13, which led to a recording contract with Pye Records. This resulted in the recording of what would later become the Northern Soul classic, Lost Summer Love. Over the decades, Lorraine has maintained a powerful connection with the musical subculture, regularly taking the stage at soul weekenders, festivals, and theatre across the UK to perform her soul classics.

In 2026 Lorraine celebrates her 60th year in the industry with her new album, Reimagined.
