Catman Boogie Music & Entertainment has been working in the Northern Soul scene for more than two decades, delivering high-quality events and unforgettable experiences for audiences across the UK and Europe. During this time, we have successfully organised, promoted, and executed numerous dedicated Northern Soul weekenders, concerts, theatre shows, and large-scale music events. We have successfully partnered with leading names like Butlins, Warner Leisure and Benidorm Palace, hosting memorable weekenders in the UK and Europe over a number of years.
We have an established, highly successful Northern Soul Weekender format, and we are looking for premier venues and hotel groups to partner with to host our future events. We bring the complete framework to you, including our dedicated following of fans ready to book accommodation packages. Our established portfolio of events includes:

Original Icons
Eddie Holman: Globally renowned for his falsetto and his timeless international anthem "Hey There Lonely Girl". A spectacular, high-energy performer who commands the stage.
Sydney Barnes: A legendary singer, songwriter, and powerhouse performer whose career spans iconic Northern Soul and Motown classics.
The Flirtations: One of the most beloved all-female groups in soul history, famous for their hit "Nothing But A Heartache".
Lorraine Silver: The sweetheart of Northern Soul, whose track "Lost Summer Love" became a staple at the Wigan Casino and remains a massive dancefloor draw.
Bobby Wilson: Bringing the vocal legacy of his legendary father, Jackie Wilson. Delivering powerhouse performances of classics like "Higher and Higher".

Weekender Schedule
Our weekender format is a fully programmed, multi-day experience that has been tried, tested, and loved by crowds across our UK and European dates. It is flexible to your venue's requirements but generally the package includes:

Hosted interview sessions featuring deep-dive conversations with original Northern Soul legends, giving fans behind-the-scenes insights into the golden era of soul music.
Vinyl DJs ✔️
A selection of well known Northern Soul DJ’s on the scene, playing classic and rare vinyl all day, every day around live sets to keep the beat going and the dancefloor filled.
Pool Parties ✔️
Northern Soul music plays around the pool area throughout the day at a low chilled level creating a relaxing ambience while people relax and rest (within music limiter levels).
Dance Workshops ✔️
With the audience likely to include many guests who are new to Northern Soul, this session provides an inclusive introduction that appeals to both experienced dancers and complete newcomers alike, giving everyone the confidence to get out on the floor.
