The Ricky-Tick was an influential 1960s club in Windsor. In 2026 it is reborn as a festival stage, traveling the country playing the very best of Northern Soul, Ska, Mod and Motown.
The Ricky Tick Club Is Reborn
The Ricky Tick Stage will transport you back to the iconic atmosphere of the Ricky Tick Club in the mid-60s, celebrating the sounds, style and energy of a legendary era. The stage continues the legacy of the club after it's 1967 closure, with an exciting mix of ska, 80s Mod revival and a touch of Northern Soul.
The Ricky Tick Stage has been running at Retro Festival for over 13 years and counting!
What Was The Ricky Tick Club?
The Ricky Tick was a club, established in the 1960's as a music venue, specialising in rytham and blues, but more specifically ska, Mod and Northern Soul. Over the years, the club hosted many famous acts including, The Who, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones making it a foundational stone in the music of the era.
The club was resident in several different locations over the years, across Berkshire and Surrey, before it's final show on 1st July 1967.
However, it is now revived! Continuing it's legacy of changing venues, the Ricky Tick stage can now be found at festivals across the UK. Check out this year's highlights below.
